People for Land and Nature (PLAN) is a coalition of conservation organizations working to pass the Santa Clara County Land Conservation Initiative in November.  You can help by signing up to volunteer or by making a financial contribution.

The Land Conservation Initiative Will Amend the Santa Clara County General Plan to:

• Protect hillsides, watersheds and wildlife habitat.
• Prevent urban sprawl into rural lands.
• Preserve ranchlands and agriculture.
• Protect ridgelines and scenic views.
• Safeguard water and air quality.
• Preserve outdoor recreation close to home.
• Maintain Santa Clara County as a desirable place to live and work.
